Swollen right thigh. Ultrasound performed prior to CT.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male

Normal flow within the left common iliac artery, with the adjacent right common iliac artery devoid of contrast, with intimal calcification.

3D volume rendered reconstruction of CT angiography study, with complete occlusion of the right common iliac artery from the level of the aortic bifurcation.

The photo shows clot specimen removed at surgery.
