Iliac bone osteochondroma

Accidentally discovered.

Patient Data

Age: 36 years old
Gender: Female
  • The left central (para sacroiliac joint) iliac bone show a well defined multi-lobulated seen arising from the medial aspect of the left iliac bone,having a cortex & medulla continuous with that of the mother bone.
  • It is seen projecting superiorly filling the space between the left sacroiliac joint & the left trasnvserse process of L5 vertebra & projecting posteriorly into the left erector spinae muscle.
  • No associated extra-osseous soft tissue components.
  • Intact left sacro-iliac joint.
