A known case of pathologically proven ulcerative colitis affecting the descending and sigmoid colon presented with right iliac fossa pain. Her CBC revealed low hemoglobin.

Iliocecal intussuception, the intussuceptum showing diffuse mural edema.
Diffuse mucosal thickening of the descending colon and sigmoid with loss of haustration are noted.
