Immigration chest

Case contributed by Dr Garth Kruger

Routine immigration chest

Patient Data

Age: 40
Gender: Female

Soft tissue density projected over the right upper lobe.

The density disappears when the patient ties up her large braid.

Case Discussion

If you routinely add nipple markers to immigration chests, it saves unnecessary recalls for pesky nipple shadows. These studies are done at the client's expense and they invariably have to take time off work to get the repeat.
