Case Discussion
The clinical features and imaging findings are typical with hematocolpos, the condition may progress to hematometra and hematosalpinx if untreated, unlike the vaginal septum the imperforated hymen is not true Müllerian duct abnormalities and investigation for associated renal tract abnormalities is not necessary.
