Implantable loop recorder device

A foreign body with circuitry is projected over the left side of the chest. There is no wiring associated with this. This is an implantable loop recorder device which records the cardiac rhythm and is used to investigate transient cardiac dysrhythmias.
Case Discussion
Implantable loop recorder devices can be differentiated from a USB stick by the lack of the typical male "A plug" with two small holes.
