Syncopal episodes. For work-up.

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

There is a small, elongated electronic device at the presternal subcutaneous region of the chest.

Chest CT done on the same patient for other indications confirms the subcutaneous location of the previously mentioned electronic device.  The features of the device are consistent with an implantable loop recorder (Medtronic Reveal LINQ insertable cardiac monitor).
