Presentation
Status post longitudinal midline incision for classical cesarian section, presented with pelvic pain and visible lump on coughing
Patient Data

1.6cm infraumbilical midline defect in the pelvic region at the site of previous incisional scar showing herniation of bowel loops and omental fat on cough impulse. Contents were reducible. Vascularity of bowel walls was maintained.

Arrows denote the anterior abdominal wall defect at the site of prior incision indicating the site of incisional hernia.
Ultrasound cine clip demonstrates the incisional hernia.
Case Discussion
Incisional hernias are the most common type of anterior abdominal wall hernia, owing to the frequency with which abdominal surgical procedures are performed.
