High resolution ultrasound of the anterior abdominal wall reveals crumpled hernia repair mesh (wavy echogenic structure) with minimal fluid collection around it which is leading to a sinus track opening on the anterior abdominal wall (white arrow).
Case Discussion
High resolution ultrasonography can be used both for diagnosis of inguinal region abnormalities and to evaluate for complications of inguinal surgery.
