Increased mucosal enhancement of the majority of the small and large bowel, with submucosal edema of the large bowel. Small volume ascites. Unusual pattern of renal enhancement confirmed to be benign on later biopsy.
Case Discussion
Patient with neutropenia and findings typical for enterocolitis, with increased mucosal enhancement of the majority of the GI tract and pan-colonic wall thickening. This diffuse pattern of inflammation with the acute presentation (and risk factors) support an infectious cause.
