Presentation

Patient presented with severe swelling and pain after plantar injection of cortisol (meant to be a pain therapy...).

Patient Data

Age: 60
Gender: Male

Extensive fluid accumulation around the plantar facia. Surgical decompression was performed and revealed pure pus, requiring days and days of drainage (foot was cut open on both sides...)
