Localized infarct of low signal on T1, high signal on T2 and FLAIR with restricted diffusion involving the left medial inferior aspect of the pons with no hemorrhagic component seen on GE sequence.
Moderate cerebral volume loss with small vessel ischemic change.

Inferior medial pontine syndrome, also known as Foville syndrome, is one of the brainstem stroke syndromes. The infarction involves the medial inferior aspect of the pons due to occlusion of the paramedian branches of the basilar artery.
