Presentation
Abdominal pain and dysentery
Patient Data
Extensive mural thickening of mid-transverse colon consistent with tumoral infiltration.
Caudal to the transverse colon lesion is a heterogeneous mass with bubbles of gas and central area of necrosis consistent with necrotic conglomerate lymphadenopathy. There are also multiple abnormal lymph nodes in the para-aortic and mesenteric regions.
The differential diagnosis most likely includes lymphoma and colonic carcinoma.
