Infrapatellar plica injury

Study showed, altered signal along infrapatellar plica, within Hoffa's fat pad, with fluid anterior to anterior cruciate ligament. Laxity of torn infrapatellar plica can also be seen. Magnified image shows infrapatellar plica tear.
Synovial plica can be seen nicely (please see traced line image for comparison).

This case demonstrates infrapatellar plica injury - an under-recognized, yet common sports injury, especially in soccer players.
