Case Discussion

The aim of imaging is to guide the management in case of accidental ingestion or aspiration of a foreign body. Chest or abdominal radiographs may be done as an appropriate first step.  Identification of the nature of the foreign body from history is crucial in case of risk of chemical or corrosive reaction within the body. Both radiography and fluoroscopy may be done to localize the foreign body.
