Frontal and lateral x-rays demonstrate an ingested coin lying in the esophagus.
Case Discussion
Swallowed coin in the esophagus in a 3-year-old child. Note the transverse orientation, a foreign body in the trachea is more likely to have an AP orientation and will probably also result in symptoms +/- pulmonary changes (e.g. atelectasis)
