The intercoccygeal angle is defined as the angle that lies between the first and last segment of the coccyx.
Case Discussion
The intercoccygeal angle if increased and even obtuse may reflect hypermobility and may explain coccydynia. It was found that idiopathic coccydynia was greater than that of traumatic.
The intercoccygeal angle is a useful radiological assessment for anterior angulation of the coccyx and its deformity.
