T2
A well defined oval shaped cyst is seen related to the femoral insertion of ACL and displays bright signal in T2 and STIR images. Mild joint effusion is noted. The ACL, PCL and menisci are intact.
Case Discussion
Differential considerations of cyst around the knee includes popliteal (Baker) cyst, meniscal cyst, ganglion cyst, cyst within tibial tunnel after ACL reconstruction and joint effusion.
