There is a large well-circumscribed fatty mass (12 x 7 x 6 cm) of intramuscular located between the biceps brachii anteriorly, brachialis medially, brachioradialis laterally, and radial nerve posteriorly. It displays a homogeneous high signal on both T1/T2 (isointense to subcutaneous fat in all sequences) attenuated on fat sat sequences. Subtle thin intralesional septa are noted with a subtle enhancement of the peripheral fibrous capsule.
Case Discussion
MRI features are most consistent with an intermuscular lipoma.
