The medial epicondyle is displaced from the distal humeral metaphysis. In normal views, the medial epicondyle should overly the distal humerus. Appearances represent medial epicondyle avulsion.
Case Discussion
The medial epicondyle overlies the distal humeral metaphysis in normal projections. When it does not and there is associated soft tissue swelling overlying it, think medial epicondyle avulsion.
