Internal jugular vein thrombosis

There is an incompressible, 4 cm long segment of the internal jugular vein with a complete absence of the color signal.
Contralateral side jugular vein is compressible with regular color signal and was used for comparison.
Case Discussion
Internal jugular vein thrombosis can sometimes be a part of the paraneoplastic syndrome. For this patient, the diagnosis has to be proven first, and if so then she should be treated properly and also undergo further diagnostic in an attempt of finding the underlying cause of her condition.
