Intersection syndrome

Recurrent pain and swelling at the distal forearm on dorsal extension of the wrist.

Patient Data

Age: 52 years
Gender: Female

T2-hyperintense inflammatory oedema around the intersection of the APL and EPB tendons and the wrist extensor tendons, about 4 cm proximal to Lister's tubercle. The periosteum of the radius is also involved.
