Case Discussion
This represents a case of pulmonary edema. The patient is a 75-year-old male with a medical history of COPD, diabetes, and hypertension who presented to the emergency department with chest pain and shortness of breath. An x-ray revealed diffuse interstitial opacities consistent with pulmonary edema. The patient was treated with a short course of diuretics and antihypertensive.
