81 years old female fall from her own height.

Comminuted intertrochanteric fracture in right proximal femur. Also we can see fractures in ischio-pubic branches. 

Case Discussion

Femoral neck fractures can be divided into two groups: 

  • Intra-capsular femoral neck fractures (sub-capital, trans-cervical and basi-cervical);
  • Extra-capsular peri-trochanteric fractures (intertrochanteric and subtrochanteric fractures).
