History of diaphragmatic hernia surgery done years ago for trauma, now with abdominal pain

Patient Data

Age: 45

Computed tomography demonstrated a defect in the left hemidiaphragm, through which enters to the chest cavity abdominal abdominal fat content, stomach and small bowel loops, which herniate through the intercostal spaces causing intestinal obstruction. Marked mediastinal shift to the right
