Well defined extra-axial mass with fatty components and calcification centered over the cribriform plate.

An extra-axial subfrontal well-defined lesion, with high signal intensity on T1 and T2 with core signal suppression on fat suppressed sequences, in keeping with fat content.
Case Discussion
CT scan of the brain was performed and showed a well defined extra-axial mass with fatty components and calcification centered over the cribriform plate.
MRI demonstrates essentially the same findings and a presumed diagnosis of dermoid cyst was made.
