Intracranial hypotension

There are bilateral subdural effusions and and extensive dural enhancement. The venous sinuses appear a little prominent and the posterior fossa appears to sag somewhat with reduction of the mamillopontine distance. The pituitary is unusually not engorged, but rather the sella appears somewhat empty. 

Case Discussion

Features are consistent with the confirmed clinical diagnosis of intracranial hypotension. The underlying cause is not known but most likely is a CSF leak form the spine or a CSF-venous fistula.
