Intracranial tuberculous abscess

Very large right posterior parietal/occipital rim-enhancing mass. Small peripherally enhancing mass in the posterior temporal lobe. Extensive white matter edema. Mass effect and leftward midline shift.
Case Discussion
This was surgically drained and proven to be a very large intracranial tuberculous abscess from an endemic area (rural Kenya). The large size and extensive vasogenic edema help differentiate it from a tuberculoma.
