Multiple small size round ring-enhancing focal lesions are seen scattered throughout the cerebrum and cerebellum. The lesions are not clearly visualized on conventional T1WI and T2WI, however, a few of the lesions are visualized on the FLAIR sequence.
There is also leptomeningeal enhancement.
No diffusion restriction. No blooming artifact on T2* GRE sequence.
Case Discussion
This patient had a known history of pulmonary tuberculosis and the imaging features are in favor of intra- and extra-parenchymal intracranial tuberculosis.
