Presentation

Abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

A 25×25mm focal dilatation is present at proximal portion of left portal vein. No filling defect is noted in favor of thrombosis.

Case Discussion

Incidental finding of a 2.5cm intra-hepatic portal venous varix in a 30-year-old male being investigated for abdominal pain.
