Case Discussion

Screening mammography for the 55-year-old patient, mother of two. Her menarche was at the age of 17 and her mother has colon cancer. She smokes 20 cigarettes/day.

The first reader graded the mammography as BIRADS 2 bilaterally, and the second one and the supervisor as BIRADS 4a for the left breast.

On the ultrasonography, the lesion had a benign presentation, and the report was BIRADS DD2 LD2.

6-month follow-up interval was advised.
