h/o trauma 1 week back; operated for lower leg fractures.

Patient Data

Age: 25
Gender: Male

Xray findings:

  • mid-shaft fractures of tibia and fibula of left leg 
  • internal fixation with flexible intramedullary nails

Case Discussion

Post- operative X-ray of intramedullary nail fixation for tibial and fibular fractures:

  • x-ray is taken to check for alignment of bones
  • and also to check position of nail
