Case Discussion

The case illustrates the non-contrast MDCT features of intramural hematoma in ascending colon and hepatic flexure in a patient with blunt abdominal trauma. This is a rare finding and coagulation disorders must be ruled out with management in most cases being surgical 1. The major complications are hypovolemia and shock 1.
