Intramuscular lipoma

There is an intramuscular lesion within the left in erector spinae muscle, starting at the level of upper end of T8 to the lower end of T11, following fat signal on all pulse sequences, as it is totally suppressed on non-contrast T1 fat sat, no soft tissue component seen.
The picture is typical of intramuscular lipoma.
Case Discussion
This case shows the typical features of lipoma, but the patient was worried about it and asked for it to be removed and it was operated on with excision of the mass.
