There is a well-defined fusiform soft tissue mass within the rectus femoris muscle, of high signal intensity on both T1WI, and T2WI, attenuated on fat sat sequences (T1 fat sat, and STIR). No other lesion is seen.
Case Discussion
Case of intramuscular lipoma within the rectus femoris muscle. It is of fat signal intensity and confined to the muscle fascia. It is important to differentiate it from lipomatous tumors.
