First carpometacarpal osteoarthritis.
Incidental node on a well-defined lucent lesion inside the scaphoid bone, indicating a bone cyst.
Case Discussion
The first carpometacarpal joint is the most commonly involved in carpometacarpal osteoarthritis.
A scaphoid bone cyst may be an intraosseous ganglion cyst or a simple bone cyst. It carries a risk for pathological fracture.
