Head CT with axial and sagittal reconstructions shows discontinuity of the inner table of the occipital bone and widening of the intradiploic space, extending from the level of the lambdoid suture to the posterior margin of the foramen magnum.

Axial T2

Brain MRI reveals a porencephalic area communicating with an expansive intradiploic cavity, with signal evolution similar to CSF in all sequences.

Intraosseous pseudomeningocele are uncommon and often only identified many years after trauma.
