Cystic lesion, measuring approx. 8.5 x 6.2 x 18mm is seen within medial fibers of proximal, mid patellar tendon, mildly extending into infrapatellar fat pad.
Edema and hyperintensity is seen in anterior suprapatellar fat pad with posterior convexity. This needs to be correlated for fat pad impingement.
Horizontal linear hyperintensity seen in posterior horn medial meniscus not intersecting with articular margins (grade 2 signal).
Case Discussion
Cystic lesion within medial fibers of proximal, mid patellar tendon, mildly extending into infrapatellar fat pad consistent with a ganglion cyst.
