Presentation

Gradual progressive right hemiparesis of 4 months duration

Patient Data

Age: 8 years
Gender: Male

A large intensely enhancing mass lesion is seen at the left lateral ventricle, epicentered on its trigone area, suggestive of intraventricular meningioma. Left cerebral moderate vasogenic edema is seen, mostly due to the mass effect of the mass upon the left cerebral hemisphere. Focal midline shift by the effect of the mass towards right side.

Moderate hydrocephalus is seen.
