There is a 40 x 45 x 80 mm intraventricular thin-walled cystic lesion within the right lateral ventricle expanding the right lateral ventricle including its trigone, occipital, and temporal horns with pressure effect upon the left lateral ventricle and midline shift of the interventricular septum.
The cystic lesion displays CSF signal intensity on all sequences.
No solid component.
Case Discussion
The MRI features are compatible with a simple intraventricular cyst. The etiologies can be an intraventricular arachnoid cyst, choroid plexus cyst or ependymal cyst.
