Presentation

Routine screening.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Spiculated mass in the upper outer quadrant of the left breast. 

Work-up views (lateral, followed by coned compression magnification MLO and CC views) confirm the presence of the spiculated mass. 

Hypoechoic round mass with echogenic rind and some ductal extension. 

Case Discussion

The patient proceeded to core biopsy and invasive ductal cascinoma NST was demonstrated.
