Presentation

The patient is examined for a palpable hard mass in the left breast.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
mammography

Spiculated area at the upper-inner quadrant of the left breast. The radiographic features of this lesion are highly suspicious for cancer.

Case Discussion

The patient underwent a mammography examination for nodularity on palpation.
Mammographic examination revealed an area of parenchymal distortion suspicious of neoplasia. An ultrasound-guided biopsy was performed. The histological diagnosis was invasive carcinoma with ductal histotype with estro-progestin receptor positivity.
