Presentation

A hard-touching mass lesion in the right breast with BIRADS IV ultrasound exam result.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

Large solid-necrotic mass lesion axial width up to 35 x 25 mm and height up to 28 mm in right breast upper central deep part with breast skin thickening and metastatic lymph nodes SAD up to 12 mm in right axillary fossa are seen. Vertebral compression fractures of T12 and L3 bodies are seen.

Case Discussion

The case illustrates the contrast-enhanced MDCT features of pathology-proved invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast with metastatic axillary lymph nodes. Clinical management is based on breast cancer TNM staging.
