Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

Small well defined mass with lobulated margin and internal popcorn calcifications is noted at central portion of right breast typical for involuting fibroadenoma.

Case Discussion

Popcorn calcification in the breast is the classical description for the calcification seen in involuting fibroadenomas which, as the name suggests, has a popcorn-like appearance.
