Increasing buttock pain 2 years post right ischial tuberosity avulsion fracture.

Patient Data

Age: 17 years
Gender: Female

Chronic right ischial tuberosity avulsion fracture with nonunion and fragmentation of the avulsion fragment.

CT confirmation of the avulsion.

The MR shows that there is fluid signal seen between the largest fragment of the ischial tuberosity and the hamstring insertion but the hamstring insertions remain attached to the avulsed fragment.
