Presentation
Known case of osteosarcoma of the left distal femur. The scintigraphy revealed an area of increased uptake at the left ischiopubic region (metastasis ?).

Enlargement of the left ischiopubic synchondrosis with small lytic areas, and irregular edges.
Case Discussion
CT appearances of left ischiopubic synchondrosis asymmetry.
The ischiopubic synchondrosis may show an increase in radiotracer uptake on radionuclide bone imaging. It represents a normal phase of skeletal development that may mimic a bone lesion on x-rays and radionuclide bone scans.
