Case Discussion

CT appearances of left ischiopubic synchondrosis asymmetry.

The ischiopubic synchondrosis may show an increase in radiotracer uptake on radionuclide bone imaging. It represents a normal phase of skeletal development that may mimic a bone lesion on x-rays and radionuclide bone scans.
