Child presented with post-traumatic lateral foot pain and swelling.

Age: 10 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Widening of the space between the 5th metatarsal bone and apophysis, with subtle apophyseal fragmentation and soft tissue swelling around it.

Case Discussion

Iselin disease is a self limiting disease which occurs secondary to repetitive traction of the peroneus brevis tendon at the site of its attachment.
