Partial osseous coalition of the capitate and trapezium.
Mildly displaced dorsal hamate avulsion fracture. Non-displaced dorsal triquetral fracture.
Sclerosis and irregularity of the distal radius in keeping with prior fracture.
Case Discussion
Isolated trapeziocapitate coalitions are a rare type of carpal coalition. In this case, it was an incidental finding with the patient's symptoms from acute carpal fractures as well as the sequelae of an old distal radius fracture that had required ORIF with subsequent metalware removal.
