There is symmetrical mild bowing of the femur, convex laterally with resultant genu varum.
Case Discussion
- congenital long bone bowing can be a manifestation of a congenital pathological condition and requires a thorough review of other systems
- isolated congenital long bone bowing can be a familial feature with autosomal dominance inheritance and may improve with age
- follow up was recommended at 2 years of age
